Lower Secondary Science

The Secondary 1 Science curriculum is crafted to strengthen and broaden your child's scientific expertise. Our lessons are designed to foster analytical thinking and refine practical skills in experimentation. Students will hone their laboratory abilities by recognizing variables and meticulously recording their experimental methods. They will also learn how to approach data analysis, experiment-focused questions, and application scenarios with confidence. Our Secondary 2 Science program builds on what students already know about science and introduces them to challenging conceptual and application-based questions that encourage higher-order thinking, enhancing their comprehension. Students will learn to effectively process and analyse data from tables and graphs. They will also work on questions that link different topics, allowing them to integrate scientific ideas. As they improve their skills in answering questions related to data analysis, experiments, and applications, they will be equipped to understand complex topics such as the functions of series and parallel electrical circuits or the phases of the menstrual cycle.
